1. ABOUT ASOM

The idea of ASOM is to offer orienteers an unforgettable, challenging and exciting orienteering weekend!

In 2019 we already have the 5th edition of ASOM. We started out in Antwerp in 2015, then moved to Ypres and Courtrai in 2018 and this time we have the beautiful old city of Ghent as our playground.

2019 is extra special because we have a really strong elite program. A mixed relay on Friday, a Knock Out Sprint on Saturday and a Sprint World Ranking Event on Sunday. An ideal occasion for the elites to test al these formats for a real Sprint WOC.

All other classes can try to beat the elites in the Mixed Sprint Relay on Friday or watch the Knock Out Sprint Finals on Saturday. With Sprint 2 races on Saturday and a long City Race on Sunday we are sure this 5th edition can’t be missed in 2019!

For the 5th year in a row the sunday race of ASOM is part of the City Race Euro Tour!
